Four high-energy tracks harken back to the nostalgic rock era while maintaining a modern indie vibe on this EP, which was mastered by Brian Lucey (Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Liam Gallagher).
Noon is a talented artist who is quickly becoming well-known in the music world. Every note and lyric in “A Jejune Affair” shows Nick’s passion for creating music. Having released two of the four tracks, Nick shared his vision with the world.
The tracks also showcase Nick’s unique musical style and storytelling ability. A listening experience that is both engaging and emotionally resonant is made possible by the introspective lyrics.

2) SATELLITE TRAIN – Lies
SATELLITE TRAIN is a power pop band from Australia. The band’s most recent single, Lies, is one of their best yet–it has everything you could want in a song: catchy melodies and lyrics that are easy to sing along with.
As a project between friends, Satellite Train was originally conceived as a fun side project. It is perhaps no surprise that Icehouse’s Michael Paynter is leading the charge with some of his finest vocal performances as the band releases its debut material.
The vocals are super catchy and easy to listen to, but the guitar riffs are what really make this song stand out. The guitar riffs are easy to follow and they’re very catchy–they’ll get stuck in your head for days!
It also has a great guitar riff and some killer drums that keep things moving along at just the right pace. And if you like your rock super-melodic and super-catchy? Well, then this song is definitely for you!
If you’re looking for an easy listening tune with some great guitar riffs then check out Lies by SATELLITE TRAIN today! You can visit their website or follow them on Spotify if you want more music from this amazing Australian-based band!
3) SPUD DAVENPORT – Songs For The Cynical
In this article, we will take you inside the new album from singer/songwriter/artist Spud Davenport, Songs For The Cynical. A collection of thirteen-and-a-half cheeky rock ‘n’ roll tunes designed to put a smile on your face even when things are going badly.
If you’re a fan of garage rock, indie melodic pop rock, and rock n roll, then you’ll love SPUD DAVENPORT’s new album Songs For The Cynical. The singer-songwriter is based out of SoCal, and the album is full of songs that are both catchy and emotional.
Is a mix of garage rock and indie melodic pop rock that will make you want to listen over and over again. The album features songs with male vocals, female vocals, classic sound, anthemic choruses, classic guitar riffs and power pop melodies. You can hear influences from classic rock bands like The Beatles or The Rolling Stones but also from modern artists like Arctic Monkeys or Arcade Fire.
My favourite song on the album is ‘Enjoy Every Sandwich’. It balances the energy in a perfect way so its stays a garage rock song, but with rock-pop influences. The lyrics are really well written and the production is of great quality!
I highly recommend checking out their website or following him on Spotify because he has some really amazing songs there!
4) JOSH LONG – Tidal Wave
JOSH LONG is an indie pop singer-songwriter from San Francisco, California. His single “Tidal Wave” is a catchy, nostalgic track that will have you singing along in no time.
The track is a mix of indie pop, rock ‘n’ roll, and surf music. It has an 80s vibe with super catchy vocals and lyrics that will have you singing along in no time.
His new song, “Tidal Wave,” is an anthem about the confusion that comes with unrecognized connections. In addition to the nostalgic lyrical themes, the music also features electric and acoustic 70’s rock elements, funky disco-inspired bass lines, and brass sections to round out the upbeat style.
The song has all the elements of a classic pop hit: catchy lyrics and melody, an upbeat tempo that makes you want to dance around your room while listening, and–of course–the perfect amount of 80s vibes!
The song is perfect for those who love soft rock or singer-songwriter music–it’s easy listening at its finest! I loved listening to it and now I can’t stop, it’s just that good!
If you’re looking for something new to listen to this weekend, check out Josh Long’s website or follow him on Spotify!
5) ENERGY WHORES – Psycho Chemistry
Energy Whores is an up-and-coming band based in New York City. The band’s single “Psycho Chemistry” is an upbeat, danceable track with a strong pop sensibility. The song features female vocals, catchy synth lines, and a driving drumbeat that will get stuck in your head for days on end.
The singer/songwriter is Carrie Schoenfeld, and the guitarist is Attilio Valenti, who is originally from Sicily, Italy. The keyboards and everything else are played by Carrie. Their music is provocative and unique, shifting between genres sometimes within the same song.
The band has turned heads for their unique sound and unique musical style, even though they have not signed with any record labels yet. Energy Whores distinguish themselves from their peers, however, by bringing social consciousness and politics back into music, as exemplified by their most recent and notable projects.
The song has been described as folktronica by some reviewers, but it’s more likely that you could call it avant-garde art rock if you wanted to get specific about what kind of music it is. Either way, the song manages to sound like something completely new and different.
You can listen to their song on Spotify and check out their website if you want more information about upcoming shows!
6) THE TRUSTED – Terrible Fight
If you’re looking for a new banger to add to your playlist, look no further than The Trusted‘s single “Terrible Fight.” The song is a melodic rock anthem with a catchy synth beat and anthemic male vocals.
The Trusted’s sound can be described as indie melodic pop rock with hints of synth rock thrown in for good measure. If you’re looking for something that will get stuck in your head after one listens–and keep coming back over and over again–then this is the band for you!
The song is an anthemic and super catchy synth-pop rock banger that you won’t be able to get out of your head.
Lyrically, ‘Terrible Fight’ is a plain and simple description of being metaphysically beaten up, like the track titles on Being Funny in a Foreign Language. Its pure pop construction and soundscape of synthesizer sequences and guitar licks conceal this ingeniously with its optimistic soundscape.
Although set against overwhelming odds, the song conveys a serious message about picking yourself up and moving forward, regardless of what appears to be impossible. The lyrics are super edgy and catchy at the same time.
If you’re looking for something new to listen to, check out The Trusted on Spotify or visit their website!
7) MICK J. CLARK – I Want It More Than You
Mick J. Clark is a singer/songwriter based in the United Kingdom, Croydon. He’s known for his power pop rock sound and his classic rock influences. His latest single “I Want It More Than You” is a song about wanting something more than the other person does.
His single I Want It More Than You is just one example of how he’s able to bring back the good old days of music with his classic rock sound.
Throughout his song, he sings about winning, about who wants it more, because the one who wants it most always wins. This was a song he wrote for England about the World Cup. ”Just want it more than they do and you’ll win !!!
I Want It More Than You’, Come on the lad’s !!!” Mick said!
I love Mick J.’s music because it reminds me of my childhood; he has such an infectious energy in his voice that makes me feel like I’m listening to one of my favourite bands growing up again!
If you’re looking for something nostalgic but still current, check out Mick J.’s music on Spotify or visit his website!
8) OLIVER JORDAN – Pedestal
Oliver Jordan, an alternative rock and indie rock singer-songwriter from Austin, Texas, has released his new single “Pedestal.” The song is a lo-fi guitar track with darkwave elements and post-punk influences. It’s a great example of the kind of music you can expect from Jordan.
The track, “Pedestal,” is a synth-heavy indie rock song that’s unlike anything else out there right now. The vocals are subtle but also vulnerable at times.
The song is a great example of what I like to call “post-punk indie rock.” It has the energy and attitude of punk, but it also has the dreamy soundscapes and atmospheric effects that are common in indie rock.
It’s got a lo-fi guitar sound that makes it feel almost like an artefact from another time–like a relic from the 80s or 90s. But then again, it doesn’t sound exactly like either of those decades; instead, it feels like an amalgamation of all three decades combined into one song!
I remember seeing the term ”space rock” in a Duster article, and I think you could say this is some sort of space rock. It has the perfect vibe for you that want to zone out and explore your mind’s universe.
If you want to check out more of Oliver Jordan’s work and keep up with what he’s doing next, visit his Youtube or follow him on Spotify!
9) MARK MILLAR – The Great Adventure
Mark Millar‘s latest single, “The Great Adventure,” is a perfect example of the kind of music that he excels. The song is an acoustic rock track with a classic sound, featuring Mark’s warm and inviting vocals over a simple but effective guitar melody.
As this song tells us, the good things about getting older are many and they are very positive! In honour of Mark’s wife’s birthday, he wrote this song for her.
It’s a song which has all the elements of an AOR / acoustic rock song with its catchy chorus, soft rock tempo and upbeat rhythm section. The song has a classic sound and it will definitely take you back in time to the days when music was actually made with passion, soul and talent rather than just being thrown together with software.
The lyrics are well-written and easy to understand and relate to. It’s clear from listening to this single that Mark Millar is not only a talented musician but also a great storyteller as well!
This track is perfect for those who like their music easy listening but also have an interest in rock music too because it combines both genres flawlessly into one great single!
The Great Adventure is available on Spotify, and you can also visit Mark Millar’s website to find out more about him and his other work!
10) VINCE CHINASKI – Eat Your Peas!
If you’re looking for a new artist to follow, you should definitely check out Vince Chinaski. The Denmark-based alt-rocker has been making waves in the indie scene with his single “Eat Your Peas!”, which is a perfect balance of catchy melodies and edgy guitar riffs.
A tragicomic rush through the pulsating states of mind of a father, “Eat Your Peas!” takes you through the pulsating states of mind of a father. The maddening contradictions and the contrasting feelings are overshadowed by love, lots of it. There is a broader universal spin developing between the lines.
As Vince says on the track… “It’s for your own good!” is just not enough. “Because I say so!” does not either ”. There are many paradoxes in parenting, and that may be one of its beauties, even if it is exasperating at times. Although you want to protect them while they’re growing up, they eventually go their own way regardless of what you say.
Vince Chinaski is proof that good music can come from anywhere—and Denmark stands out on it! Check him out on Spotify or visit his website to learn more about him and keep up with what he’s doing next!
