If you’re looking for fresh, new artists to follow, you can’t go wrong with Rusty Reid. This American singer-songwriter hails from Texas originally, but now resides in the Pacific Northwest, and is known for his genre-hopping style (indie folk, pop, country, rock, and soul).

Rusty Reid has just released his third album “Bayou Line” weeks ago, which includes some of the top players from the worlds of Seattle, Los Angeles, Nashville, and New York, as well as other places as far away as Sao Paolo and Berlin.
There is no doubt that you will enjoy this first single: “Corner of My Mind.” It’s a dreamy, philosophical song about a lost love (with a flashback trip to Ireland thrown in for good measure).
The song is classic and timeless—it’s easy to imagine it being played on the radio in the ’90s or ’80s.
