Is there anything better than a relaxing summer? Ok, maybe. But at least you can find some peace in these great new releases. Over the past couple of months, several independent bands have released incredible soft-rock/easy-listening songs that must have your attention now.
We can not deny that music is one of the best ways to calm your nerves. Whether it be a rock song or R&B music, having the right tunes can help you relax and focus, but it’s always hard to find just the right songs to listen to. We’ve compiled a list of soft-rock songs that will make your summer a lot less stressful.
It’s for a relaxing moment! After a long day of work and the crying children that come along with it, the last thing you want to hear is too screaming guitars and wailing vocals.
You finally find the time to relax and unwind but your favourite classic rock band didn’t release an album for twenty years. This can leave you feeling isolated and powerless to control what fills your ears.
Here we go… It’s a thoughtful selection of music that makes you stop and say “Hey, this is pretty good!”. You can listen to our full playlist which contains the artists’ music, and know more about their work by scrolling down the page.

Their music is influenced by these artists and others like David Bowie, who also made a name for themselves in this field.

4) ENOCH PORCH – Change
Dreamy, soft pop-rock is the name of the game with ENOCH PORCH. Their new single “Change” is a perfect example of the dreamy, melodic vibes that they have come to be known for.
The band recently released their single “Grand Army”, which is great as well, and you can check it out on Spotify. They are based in Brooklyn, NY and have been releasing singles on Spotify since 2020.
Their sound is best described as indie pop rock with soft rock influences. The singer has a very smooth voice and has a habit of singing about love lost or unrequited love.
The guitar work is often dreamy and melodic, but very rock ‘n’ roll in some parts of the songs, and this made me like it even more, the contrast between verses. If you like what you hear, check out his website, you can also follow him on Spotify to support his great work.
5) LETHIA’S NATORIUM – Here We Go
The UK’s LETHIA’S NATORIUM (aka Pena Hughes-John) has released a new single, ‘Here We Go,’ that will be sure to bring you back to the heyday of 80’s rock. With a full-on sound that mixes pop, alternative, and post-punk influences with the singer-songwriter style of the 90s.
LETHIA’S NATORIUM has created an anthem, it’s catchy and based on the high-level fun of a theme park. That’s sure to be on repeat for quite some time: “Here we go, here we go, here we go, here we go, here we go, ohhhh!”.
The project is fronted by London-based Lethia, who brings her own unique style to the song. Her vocals are rich and powerful, with just enough edge to make you want to sing along. The lyrics are simple but effective. Repetitive, but in this case, it works as a scream of victory.
If you like what you hear from this track, check out LETHIA’S NATORIUM’s website for more information about upcoming shows and releases, and follow her on Spotify!

The New York-based artist released his latest album Oddysey last month. It’s a conceptualized album that follows Andrew Ruoti’s personal philosophy, which revolves around transformation, specifically overcoming adversity and trauma and transforming it into resilience
The songs are very cinematic in style, with strong electronic elements and drums that keep the beat going throughout the entire album. Very rocky, but they’re a fusion with hip-hop as an example of the song Special Day.
There are also some power pop elements present in some of the songs like “Deconstruct” which features catchy guitar riffs along with vocals that sound like a classic rockstar. If you consider it interesting, you can check out Andrew Ruoti’s BandCamp and also follow him on Spotify!

When you’re looking for something to listen to that is retro but still modern, take a listen to N4NOVEMBER‘s new single, “Mistakes and Heartbreak.” This Australian band has a sound influenced by the 80’s pop rock scene, with modern elements and synth thrown in for good measure.
The track is an upbeat love song with a chorus that will get stuck in your head for days. The male vocals are soulful and ethereal; you can feel his heartbreak as he sings about losing the love of his dreams.
The song has an anthem-like quality, making it perfect for listening to while driving down the highway or while running errands around town. It’s also great background music for writing or studying—just turn it on and let yourself fall into the music!

The band is based in Norway, Oslo. Their sound is influenced by Americana, blues rock, garage, classic soft rock, pop rock, and retro guitar.
Their songs present strong male vocals and a music style that are reminiscent of artists like Gram Parsons, Buffalo Springfield, Poco, Ricky Nelson, and even Bob Dylan. We really loved it all, not only the new single but the previous releases too.

For those who like soft-rock with folk, you’re in for a treat. SANO HILL has released their latest single, “CircleWalk.” This song is a perfect example of folk rock with acoustic guitars, simple percussion, and the singer-songwriter’s beautiful voice.
The song is very easy to listen to and will leave you wanting to hear more from this artist. This track specifically is darker than the previous ones, dealing with a breakdown in communication in a relationship in which two people can’t find the words to say what they feel instead of walking in circles around it.
