1) BONES IN BUTTER – Scenes From The Metro
BONES IN BUTTER is a band you should know about.
With their new single, Scenes From The Metro, they’ve managed to capture the essence of what makes them so unique: dreamy vocals, experimental guitar riffs and an overall sense of nostalgia.
Bones in Butter is a Serbian band that plays a unique blend of dream pop and alternative rock. The music is cinematic, nostalgic, and experimental–it’s as if the Cure had been listening to Tame Impala instead of Joy Division. The vocals are strong and haunting, but there’s also an undercurrent of melancholy in the lyrics that sounds amazing.
It is their first venture into the post-rock department with this song. The story that follows is a sad but true one. There is a heartbreaking story behind the Belgrade Metro project, a dream that never came to fruition. You are invited to walk with them into the empty depths of Belgrade, one of Europe’s last capitals without an underground network.
It’s hard to put into words what makes this song so amazing–it’s like nothing else out there right now. It’s dreamy and cinematic but also heavy and powerful; it’s experimental but accessible; it’s post-punk but pop-friendly. And all of these things are wrapped up in one track that somehow feels nostalgic even though it doesn’t sound like anything else out there today.
You can check out more from BONES IN BUTTER on Spotify or visit their website for more information about their upcoming tour dates!
2) TIRED OF FIGHTING – Hollow
The UK is a hotbed of alternative rock, and this banger is proof. Independent artists are a special breed of musicians. They’re not just creating music, but also creating their own paths to success in an industry that is dominated by big labels and major artists.
Language Games is a band from Newcastle, United Kingdom that plays alternative rock with an emo-rock influence. Their new single “Hollow” is an anthem for anyone who has ever felt like they were on the outside looking in at life.
Hollow is their fourth single and tells the story of loneliness and loss, but ultimately it is a story of growth that occurs when you are faced with such a drastic change in your life. The fact that they released this near Christmas time was amazing to me, as this is such a difficult time for many people at this time of year.
The song is filled with catchy riffs and soaring vocals that make you want to sing along at the top of your lungs (or maybe just quietly on your commute). You can check out more from TIRED OF FIGHTING on Spotify!
3) MNERVA – Love Song
MNERVA is a young, independent artist who has been making waves in the Nashville music scene. His single “Love Song” is an ode to classic rock and pop, with a modern twist. The song features MNERVA’s signature vocals and guitar playing over a catchy beat that will have you singing along in no time.
The song has an alternative rock sound with classic rock influences. The instrumentals are well-balanced between guitars, bass and drums. The vocals are clear and crisp, sung by MNERVA himself in his signature style.
In the burgeoning independent music scene, Matt Wagner aka MNERVA has emerged as a rising star. His live performances, infectiously catchy songs, and insane drum skills make him a favorite among his fans and peers. “Love Song”, one of MNERVA’s most beautiful songs, was released on 11/11. A song that explores self-reflection and uncovers feelings and emotions you never knew existed
The lyrics are also great–they’re not cheesy or overly sentimental like some love songs can be. Instead, they seem authentic and genuine, which makes them all the more relatable for listeners who have experienced heartbreak or loss themselves.

Black Stone Brewers is an independent alternative rock band from Australia, based in Perth. They have just released a single called Every Last Day, which is an anthemic rock pop song with a classic sound, catchy chorus and super catchy guitar riffs. The song has a strong male vocal performance.
This song has a classic sound and anthemic feel to it. It’s super catchy and will get stuck in your head for days. The vocals are performed by a male vocalist with a unique voice that adds to the song’s overall feel. The instrumentals are done well too; they aren’t too heavy or too light–they’re just right!
The Black Stone Brewers say about the song:” ‘Every Last Day’ is a song 7 years in the making, and is very close and dear to us. It tells the story of the passing of one of our band member’s close childhood friends and the resulting grief that one goes through. 7) HURRICANE #1 – Autopilot Man
If you’re looking for a new band to get into, look no further than Hurricane #1. Their EP, Autopilot Man, is packed with classic songs that will have you singing along in no time.
The band has a sound that’s reminiscent of the 90s rock scene–think Britpop and power pop–but they also have their own unique twist on it that makes their music stand out. The result is an EP full of catchy tunes that will keep you coming back for more.
This band is a Scottish-based band that has been making waves in the indie rock scene. Their newest EP, Autopilot Man, is their most recent release and it shows off everything that makes this band so special: catchy melodies, edgy guitar riffs, and a sound that harkens back to classic rock bands like The Who and Led Zeppelin while still feeling fresh and current.
The songs on this album are all about UK culture and the band’s home country of Scotland–The music itself has an edgy vibe but it’s also super catchy–it’s impossible not to sing along with these tracks!
My favourite song from this EP is ‘Autopilot man’. It gives off that raw classic rock feel. It takes you back to the 60s. It’s really well-written, and a very full-on production too! this song is a banger.

8) SUN LITE – Unicorns & Dragons
SUN LITE is an indie band from Belgium, Lier. They released their latest album Unicorns & Dragons
SUN LITE is a Belgian artist who creates music that is truly unique. He blends elements of alt-folk, acoustic rock, indie melodic pop rock, psychedelic electronic, world music, experimental electronic and leftfield into his sound to create a truly unique experience for the listener.
His most recent album Unicorns & Dragons is an exciting mix of songs that are both relaxing and energizing at the same time. The album features some beautiful instrumentals.
The album is perfect for those who enjoy relaxing with friends or unwinding after a long day of work. It also makes for a great soundtrack for road trips or long flights.
SUN LITE has a sound that’s hard to pin down–it’s not quite folk, not quite pop; it’s more like pop-folk or rock-pop. The songs are catchy and upbeat but also have a soothing quality that makes them perfect background music when you’re trying to focus on something else (like writing).
My favourite song from this album is ‘Day Stallion’, as it’s really simple. It’s a good song to listen to on a car ride or just if you are at home laying down. The instrumental has some amazing quality and is well arranged.

If you’re looking for a new sound, one that’s a little more organic and diverse than what you might have heard before, then Babelshack Theater: Volume 1 is the album for you.
A solo expedition into electronic music, Babelshack Theater is Barnaby Hazen’s latest project. Hazen led Babelshack, a hard-edged rock band for many years. Furthermore, he has performed as a sideman (both on bass and guitar).
With a variety of ensembles in New Mexico, including Kevin Wood (of Seattle’s original grunge act, Malfunkshun), Katie P, Angela Pope, and others. Hazen’s brutally intimate lyrics set to lush melodies carry Babelshack Theater: Volume 1 into the uncharted, highly compelling territory.
The album is a collection of songs that has everything from psychedelic rock to electronic pop and even indie rock with male vocals. The songs range from downtempo to power pop and everything in between.

10) WEST WICKHAMS – Magenta
WEST WICKHAMS is a UK-based artist who has been making waves in the music scene for some time now. His latest EP, Magenta, is his most ambitious project yet–and it shows.
WEST WICKHAMS’ voice is both smooth and powerful, which makes it the perfect vehicle for his lyrics. The lyrics themselves are dark and introspective, but they’re also hopeful and uplifting at times–a rare combination that makes this album feel like something special.
The colour magenta represents universal harmony and emotional balance. It contains the passion, power, and energy of red yet is restrained by the introspection and quiet energy of violet. In addition to promoting compassion and kindness, it also promotes cooperation. There is cheerfulness, happiness, contentment, appreciation, and contentment associated with the colour magenta.
My favourite song from the EP= is ‘Masculin Féminin Hot Jump’. It holds such an amazing vibe to it. It’s such a happy and uplifting song, I could listen to it all day!
