Oasis Live ’27 Now Ends With Six Nights at Knebworth

Will Lisil 23 September 2026
Oasis Live '27 Now Ends With Six Nights at Knebworth

Thirty years ago, Oasis played two August nights at Knebworth that are still remembered as the most famous gigs of their career. Next September the Gallagher brothers go back to the same field, and not for two nights. With today’s additions, Oasis Live ’27 now finishes with six shows at Knebworth, a run Radio X describes as record-breaking, and the first time Liam and Noel have played the site together since August 1996.

The band announced four extra dates on 23 September, which they put down to phenomenal demand: a third night at Munich’s Allianz Arena, another stop at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico, and those two final Knebworth nights on 25 and 26 September 2027. That takes the tour to 42 shows, and according to Variety, the press release is clear that no further dates will be added.

Four New Dates and One That Moved

The new shows slot into the existing route rather than extending it. Munich gets a third night on 6 July, after the already-confirmed dates on 2 and 3 July. Rome gains an extra show on 26 July, ahead of the two nights already booked at the Stadio Olimpico on 29 and 30 July. The two new Knebworth dates close the tour on 25 and 26 September.

One date moved rather than grew. The band’s second night at the Stade de France, originally set for 24 July, has been brought forward to 20 July. NME reports that the change follows reports the date was under threat because of planned public transport works, and Variety attributes it to railway engineering on 24 July. The other Paris show stays on 23 July.

For fans who already hold a code, the practical effect is simply more chances at the dates people wanted most. For anyone watching the tour’s shape, it confirms where the demand sits: the home-crowd stadiums and the one field that carries the band’s own mythology.

Six Nights in the Same Field

Knebworth was already the emotional centre of the tour before today. The band had announced four nights there, on 11, 12, 18 and 19 September, as a return to the site of their two landmark shows in August 1996. Adding the 25th and 26th makes six nights, three times as many as that 1996 weekend, and turns the end of the tour into a fortnight-long stand in one place.

That is a different kind of gig to a stadium night. A field show brings camping, transport and a whole day on site, and NME notes that Oasis have already published plans for transport, camping, hospitality and accessibility for the Knebworth run. Six of those in a fortnight is a small town’s worth of logistics, and the band are clearly treating it as the finale rather than just another stop.

It also brings the tour full circle. Live ’27 opens in Glasgow in May and then heads home to Manchester, where the band have an 11-night residency at the Etihad Stadium, the home of Manchester City. It ends in the Hertfordshire field where so much of the band’s reputation was made. Between those two points sits the European and American leg, and then two nights at Ireland’s Slane Castle before the final stretch.

The Full Oasis Live ’27 Route

With the new dates in place, NME’s full listing of the tour runs as follows:

  • Glasgow, Celtic Park: 21, 23, 25, 28 and 29 May
  • Manchester, Etihad Stadium: 4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 15, 18, 19, 22, 25 and 26 June
  • Munich, Allianz Arena: 2, 3 and 6 July (6 July new)
  • Barcelona, Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys: 10 and 11 July
  • Amsterdam, Johan Cruijff Arena: 16 and 17 July
  • Paris, Stade de France: 20 July (rescheduled) and 23 July
  • Rome, Stadio Olimpico: 26 July (new), 29 and 30 July
  • Boston, Gillette Stadium: 10, 13 and 14 August
  • Las Vegas, Allegiant Stadium: 20, 21 and 24 August
  • Slane Castle, Ireland: 4 and 5 September
  • Knebworth, UK: 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26 September (25 and 26 new)

Count it up and Manchester alone accounts for more than a quarter of the whole tour, with Glasgow and Knebworth adding another eleven nights between them. This is a tour built around British and Irish crowds, with a European summer and a short American run in the middle.

How the Tickets Actually Work

If you are hoping to buy, the rules are strict, and it is worth reading them before Friday. Fans had to pre-register for Live ’27, and registration is now closed. Successful applicants are sent a unique, non-transferable code that unlocks an allocated onsale window. In the UK, the sale runs across Friday 25, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September, with three onsale windows on each day, and fans are told directly which window they can use and at what time.

There is no general sale and no other public pre-sale. NME reports that this is the only public way to buy tickets for the tour, a model designed to keep the process “as fair and smooth as possible” after past controversy over chaotic online queues and dynamic pricing. Standard UK ticket prices are fixed, ranging from £71.50 to £266.60 including fees, and the full venue and pricing details sit on the band’s official site, oasisinet.com.

The fixed-price detail is the one that matters most to anyone who remembers the Live ’25 sale. It means the price on the screen should be the price you pay, whichever window you land in, rather than a number that moves with demand while you are in the queue.

Why the Demand Is Still This Big

Live ’27 follows directly from the Live ’25 reunion tour, and NME reports that Noel Gallagher has said the band settled on another run early in last year’s shows after seeing the response. He has also promised that the 2027 performances will be a step up on the comeback shows, which sets a high bar after last year’s reunion trek.

The band’s story has been back on screens this month as well. The documentary Don’t Look Back In Anger reached cinemas on 9 September, and NME’s four-and-a-half-star review called it “masterfully done, with moments of irreverence and intense passion burning throughout”. Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, who worked on the film, told NME the question he wanted to answer was “why, after 16 years with no promotion and no marketing, is this music bigger than it’s ever been?”

That question is also the best explanation for four extra dates. There has been speculation about a Glastonbury slot in the gap in the band’s summer schedule, but NME reports that festival boss Emily Eavis shut the rumour down in a reply to a fan online. For now, the places that matter to Oasis in 2027 are Glasgow, Manchester, Slane and Knebworth.

What to Watch Before Friday

The next few days are about codes and windows. Anyone who registered should be watching their inbox for the email that confirms their allocated slot, because without that code there is no way in. The new Knebworth and European dates are part of the same process, so there is no separate sale to wait for.

Big returns have been the running theme of the indie calendar this year. Our recent report on how The Strokes waited six years and came back with nine songs looked at another band whose absence only made the room louder when they walked back in. Oasis have now gone one better, turning last year’s reunion into a second tour and, by the end of next summer, six more nights in the most famous field of their career.
