Have you spent hours looking for new music releases from your favourite artists, or searching for a place to relax with classic soft-rock music?
Are you like me and love to listen to music, but often have trouble finding the perfect soundtrack for your day? Don’t worry, we are in the same team.
Music is a universal language, yet the way we listen to music has evolved so much over the years. In the modern day, music is mostly “background music” that you might listen to while at work or cleaning your home.
Sometimes, you might even listen to music suggested by algorithms. But there was a time when music was more than just “music” — it was an art form.
Soft-rock of the 60s, 70s and 80s inspired legions of fans to pick up guitars which eventually led to many of today’s biggest artists.
Throughout history, rock-pop and soft-rock have been regarded as a formula that has stood the test of time and is highly respectable to both young and old audience members alike.
Rock artists never seem to grow old, no matter how long they have been around. There is something about this type of music genre that normally does not allow artists to retire too soon. It is a pleasure to work with them because they are energetic and don’t disappoint.
You can listen to our full playlist which contains the artists’ music, and know more about their work by scrolling down the page.
1) TROLN – Ghost
TROLN is a dark wave, new wave and post-punk band from Denmark. Their music is a perfect combination of dark and light, with cinematic undertones and female vocals that will leave you wanting more. We loved how soft but still rocky it sounds.
The song “Ghost” will have you thinking about the meaning of life and death as you listen to her smooth but powerful voice. If you’re into alternative rock, check out “To The Shore” as well, which has an anthem-like quality that makes it easy to get behind.
If you’re looking for something more mellow, check out “The Other Side” which has a dreamy feel thanks to its ambient sounds and guitar melodies.
The best way to get introduced to TROLN’s work is through Spotify or BandCamp, where they have some singles and an album available. Check it out, visit the band’s website and follow them on Spotify.
2) SANO HILL – Sing Out Loud
SANO HILL is an Irish singer-songwriter. He is a master of soft rock, folk rock, and indie rock. His single “Sing Out Loud” is full of classic sounds that will get you tapping your feet and singing along.
The song opens with a guitar riff that immediately transports you to Ireland, where the artist was born and raised. The song has a classic sound that brings to mind the folk rock scene in Ireland.
You can also hear influences from artists like Bob Dylan and Bono in the song’s lyrics, as well as in its instrumentation.
The backing vocals are beautiful and harmonious, making them stand out among other soft rock songs that use only one or two vocalists.
The bass line is punchy and rhythmic, providing a strong foundation for all of these elements to come together into one unified soundscape. If you are curious about how it sounds, we recommend you listen to his previous releases too. Check it out, visit the artist’s website and follow on Spotify.
3) COLORFUZZ – At First Sight
The US pop-rock scene is full of artists who are constantly innovating and experimenting with new sounds, creating new genres and establishing themselves as leaders in a rapidly evolving industry.
One of these artists is COLORFUZZ, an independent artist from Green Brook, New Jersey. His latest single “At First Sight” is a prime example of how he’s doing things differently than the rest of his peers.
The song starts off with a slow synth beat that builds up to a crescendo as it reaches its chorus. The vocals are soft but bold—they’re not overpowering but they’re definitely there, and they’re one of the best parts about this track.
They’re about love at first sight, which sounds like something we’ve all experienced or seen happen to someone else before: when you see someone for the first time and feel something deep inside telling you that this person could be really important to you in some way or another. But what makes these lyrics stand out is that it’s not fiction.
Overall, this song is very enjoyable, and it has a great beat that makes me want to dance. I definitely recommend checking out COLORFUZZ if you’re into indie pop-rock music! Check it out, visit the artist’s website and follow on Spotify.
4) 49 BURNING CONDORS – Seventh Hymnal
The Philadelphia-based band 49 BURNING CONDORS has released its first full album, Seventh Hymnal. This is a seven-track collection that weaves together elements of indie rock, stoner rock, gothic rock, amazing female vocals, art rock and alt-folk to create a sound that is cinematic and anthemic.
The first track on the album, “Bayou”, begins with a cinematic soundtrack feel and builds into an anthem of sorts for those who love being on the road, it’s very folk and transports the listener to another dimension.
There are many others to explore but our favourite track on the album is called “Seventh Hymnal”, and it’s all about romantic and orchestral soft rock and obviously folk. This blend of genres is fascinating, it’s pure art!
Some tracks are more romantic than rock, which starts off sounding like an anthem but then turns into something more like a ballad halfway through. If you like what you hear, check out their previous portfolio, visit the band’s website and follow them on Spotify.
5) LATO – Camouflage
LATO is a soft rock independent band from Italy, Milan. They released the single “Camouflage” recently, and it has been getting rave reviews on the European rock scene.
The song combines classic rock elements with a modern twist that makes it feel fresh and exciting. The guitar riffs are catchy and memorable, and the vocals are strong and emotional.
The song is an anthem for those who feel like they don’t fit in anywhere. The lyrics reflect this theme beautifully – music and words echo each other: some people build their reputation and charisma disguised behind ambiguous words and constantly alter their views to satisfy the masses.
The message makes it very clear: Don’t forget to be careful! Keeping a mask on all the time may also make you forget your true self and make you lose your true nature!
This sentiment will resonate with anyone who has felt like an outsider or had trouble fitting in somewhere because of their identity or lifestyle choices.
The instrumentals are also very well done; the drums add excitement without overwhelming the rest of the soundscape, while the guitars add depth without being too distracting from the main melody line. Check it out, watch their music video, visit the artist’s website and follow them on Spotify.
6) MUMBO – Don’t Even Mind The Rain
Drifting through the airwaves, the single “Don’t Even Mind the Rain” by UK-based indie band Mumbo is a soft rock dream. With a dreamy guitar hook and smooth vocals, this track will put you right in its trance.
Mumbo’s lead singer’s voice is both silky smooth and full of emotion as she sings about finding love and peace in her life. The song has an ethereal quality that makes it feel like it’s coming from another world—but one that we’re all longing to be part of.
The lyrics are simple but powerful, and the producers are from PopHits.Co was very impressed with their high-quality instrumentation. They described the band as an indie pop-rock band with influences from folk rock and singer-songwriter music.
Their music can be described as “alt-country”, but there are also elements of folk rock and dream pop in their composition that it’s difficult to define and delicious to listen to.

Totally worth it. This song is the perfect mix of classic r70s pop rock with a soulful voice that makes you want to sing along. It’s got an anthemic sound that makes it really easy to listen to over and over again. I love how the song builds up to the chorus—it feels like it’s going to explode with emotion at any moment!

8) THE ART CRIMES BAND – Neon Skyline
The Art Crimes Band is a new soft rock act from Ireland. Their single, “Neon Skyline,” is nostalgic and somewhat reminiscent of the 80’s rock music scene.
The upbeat tempo and catchy lyrics will keep you humming along all day—at least until the next song comes on. The saxophone’s melody will not leave your mind for sure.
The band has a female lead singer who sings with a powerful still smooth voice that could easily compete with many male vocalists out there today.
Her lyrics are thoughtful and heartfelt, which makes the song even more enjoyable to listen to. There’s a reason why the producers called her “the golden voice.”
If you’re looking for a band that will bring you back to your childhood days when things seemed simpler and life was less complicated, this is the group for you.

Rob Lea is a British singer-songwriter who has been on the music scene for over a decade. His latest single, Freak, is the perfect example of his style—a blend of soulful rock, classic soft-rock, and indie melodic pop rock.
The song starts off with a deep guitar riff and then builds into a catchy anthem that invites you to sing along. With lyrics that are full of trick words, it’s easy to see why this song is so fun to listen to and sing and is also bound to be a hit.
Rob Lea was recently featured on many indie rock culture websites where he talked about how he balances nostalgic and modern rock music; which he can do very well as we can see. Getting his own music out into the world is inspired by the audiences he’s played to and the fanbase he’s built over the years!
“This song is all about celebrating what makes you slightly different from the “Norm.” It’s about sticking a middle finger up at anyone who says you are less than perfect.”
